When we talk about children’s development we talk about their ability to do more and more complex things as they grow up. The most important stages of development evolve from birth until the age of 5, which will mark their subsequent development in various fields.

Children have their own time and growth rate, but experts use the term "developmental milestones" to define normal and developmental delay. This term includes development in movement, speech, vision, diet and social milestones such as playing.

Maria Arampatzi
Journalist

Maria Arampatzi is a graduate of the Law School of Thessaloniki and holds a Master's degree in International Journalism and Communications from Cardiff University of Wales. After finishing her studies in the field of Media and Journalism, she started her career at the TV station of Serres, first as an editor-in-chief and then as a presenter of a morning show. Shortly afterwards, she worked for ALPHA Channel, in various positions like: editor, news bulletin presenter and news show presenter. Later, she worked for ANT1 presenting the channel’s newscasts. She was also an editor and presenter of the state television show "Nistiko Arkoudi". Then, she was transferred to MEGA Channel and presented the show "Omorfos Kosmos to Proi" during the season 2009-2010 and the show "Mommy" during 2010-2012. During 2012-2018 she worked as project manager at Network Television, where she has also been a member of the Board  since 2012.  
 

Tania Bageri
Child Psychologist

Tania Bageri is a Counseling Psychologist with postgraduate studies in Counseling Psychology and Existential Counseling, in Athens and London.
Her clinical experience includes adult psychotherapy in private and municipal organisations, evaluation and support of children and adolescents, individual and family counseling as well as psycho-educational groups and parent counseling.

For 15 years she has been collaborating with large private schools and kindergartens in Athens, in order to promote the mental health of children, as well as early detection and prevention of developmental and other difficulties. At the same time, she holds a private office, where she is visited by individuals, couples and families.

She is a collaborator of the private Mitera Child Clinic and has been a founding member and psychotherapist in the Ψ-Network, an initiative of social interest that provides support and other mental health services at low cost, for specific vulnerable groups who need it.

She has participated in scientific conferences on psychology, counseling and psychotherapy as a speaker and coordinator, in Europe and the US. She often writes articles on issues of psychological interest in print and electronic media. She is licensed to practice psychology in Greece and the UK.
 

Irene Kaloumenou
Pediatrician

Irene Kaloumenou was born in Athens. She graduated with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and then completed the field service at the Diakleio Prefectural General Hospital of Karystos in Evia. She completed her specialty in Pediatrics at the Pediatric Department of the General Hospital ¨Asclepieio Voula¨  and at the 1st Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens, Children's Hospital ¨Ag. Sophia.

She then worked as a Public Health Doctor of the Prefecture of Athens, as a Research Fellow in the Department of Mediterranean Anemia at the First University Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens, Children's Hospital Ag. Sofia¨, from 9.2002 -12.2003 and as a salaried Scientific Associate in the Department of Endocrinology - Growth and Development at the Children's Hospital "P & A. Kyriakou" where she remains until today.
She prepared her Doctoral Thesis at the Medical School of the University of Athens entitled "Frequency of Antithyroid Antibodies. Correlation with thyroid size and urinary iodine excretion in children aged 5-15 years. Grade: Excellent
In the framework of the 44th Panhellenic Pediatric Conference, in June 2006, she received the 2nd Regional Prize for the work "Frequency of Subclinical Hypothyroidism, Autoimmunity and Thyroid Tumor Values, in Population aged 5-18 years in Attica. The Effect of Ivi. "
