Greece as an ideal naval and maritime education center

Inspired by Metropolitan College

Greece is without doubt a superpower in the shipping industry. At the same time, it has started to become a famous international center for naval and maritime education, since Greek-owned ships have been the most prominent example of international dominance and prosperity since 1960 and even in extremely difficult times. Greece has what it takes to establish itself as a leading country in global shipping: experience, knowledge and infrastructure.

In recent years, interest in shipping and maritime education has flourished, as young people see this field as an ideal career option with excellent opportunities for development.

How will Greece become a global center of naval and maritime education?

In what ways does the establishment of such a development center contribute to its strengthening?

How can we use our shipping tradition and ascendancy to attract both Greek and foreign students?

What is the contribution of technology to maritime education and employment?
